Dis-Unity

It is really rude that Barak Obama gave Joe Biden my email without asking. Faux pas.

New York Times WTF

So I'm no linguistic or racial sensitivity expert but the following sentence from the New York Times today rubbed me the wrong way:

"Even stalwart Republicans acknowledge that items related to Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, may become especially valuable if he is elected because he would be the first black in the office."

THE FIRST BLACK IN THE OFFICE?!

The article, if you're wondering, is about political campaign merch collectors. They're a bit like stamp collectors only slightly more sad and a whole lot more scarce.

Evan Bayh wants to be Vice President

You can just see it in the kung-fu grip he has on Barak's arm and that desperate look in his eyes. "Please man, I need this right now."

Side Note: I really like people from Indiana. In fact I'm pretty sure I've never met a dick-head from Indiana and I've met a lot of dick-heads. Evan Bayh is most likely not a dick-head.

Tim Kaine = LBJ, In A Good Way?

So if Obama is like JFK then he might want to look for his Lyndon B. Johnson. Well look at apparent VP front runner Tim Kaine governor of Virginia. The youth to old guy ratio seems about right if nothing else.

Musicians for Obama?

Hey, I'm trying to get some bands together for a concert in support of Barak Obama. The only money would be donation only and it would only cover the cost of the show or possibly go into the Staten Islanders for Obama group I'm involved with. We are trying to get permission to use one of Staten Island's many parks however if that doesn't happen we will surely find an accomodating venue.

Mostly we want this to be a rally and a good place where we can try and get more people politically active. If you're interested in getting involved please email me at: timduffyster@gmail.com

Jackie Mason: This Week's Don Imus

Jackie Mason and ahem Raoul Felder (who is in charge of overseeing judicial ethics in New York, and who was Rudy Giuliani's divorce lawyer) have written a book. Apparently this book is so terrible that the rest of the judicial ethics staff have recently passed a vote of no confidence in his ability to judge judicial ethics. Governor Elliot Spitzer is also putting the squeeze on him. Amongst the moderate racism apparently throughout the book there is also the suggestion that anytime you hear the word "allegedly" it's probably true.

But really the reason I've posted anything here is to post this abismal clip of Jackie Mason slagging Barak Obama. Apparently he should go for a job he's qualified for "like head waiter."
