Ever watch the situation room? The camera work messes me up. They have their camera guy film a TV in the studio. It's like watching TV on TV. Wolf Blitzer is mad abstract.

Little Miss Sunshine is a Movie I'm Looking Forward To

So while Snakes on a a Plane Looks like an amazing Kafka-esque* thrill ride,(please see the Snakes on a Plane trailer to truly understand what I mean.)Little Miss Sunshine by contrast seems like a movie I can anticipate with a certain silent snoody glee. More important than all that is the fact that it co-stars the always impressive Steve Carrell of whom I'm a huge fan. So know I'm not sure which I'm looking forward to more, Snakes on a Plane or Little Miss Sunshine.

*Kafka wrote a book about a giant bug. He is surely kicking himself from beyond the grave about missing the idea of snakes on a plane.

I feel so out of the loop. This song with it's jumbled piano and scattered drums was apparently all the rage back in 2004. How did I miss it? How did I miss the ghostly spiritual meets Pat Benetar vocals? How did I miss it's 3 minutes of musical recycling? How is this song so satisfying with so little effort?
