David Byrne "I Wanna Dance With Somebody"

The other night I mp3j'ed for a brief spell at Martini Red. Until some scheduling conflicts took our night away I was set to play deuling laptops with my good friend(and current improv partner) Casey Jost. He dropped a David Byrne cover of the Whitney Houston easy listening classic "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and it sort of blew my mind.

I wanted to share it. This is a pretty high quality live rendition.


Casey records music as Les Vinyl and plays drums in Paragraph. David Byrne used to sing in some band, now he blogs.
