Good Times Marathon Puts African Americans Back On Top of TV Hilarity

With the summer televison lag it was a thrill that hilarious sitcom writing could be found on television all this weekend. The source was TV Land's all weekend Good Times marathon. I for one love Good Times and would rate it above All In The Family as far as my personal preferences are concerned. The Reason for this is mostly Michael the second best kid character in sitcom history (to Arrested Developement's George Michael). Who better to bring millitant black politics to the masses than a precocious pre-teen with a penchant for pontificating on Malkum X, Gil Scott Heron, and the Black Panthers (say this sentence three times fast very loudly in your work place).
