My Lazy Endorcement of IndieInterviews.com

PLEASE NOTE: I have changed my name in these conversations to Amy Sedaris as I'm sure her name gets searched in Google more than mine. This is a series of emails as such it should be read from the bottome up. It's like a game of sorts, an unfun game. Like Jumanji!

A New Nuance -- Amy,

On this show, your host Garrison Reid sits down with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. James discusses remixing and being remixed, the variety of venues in which the band performs and looking forward to a new record.

I have been developing an interview-based podcast for a couple of months and now looking to develop press attention. The artists featured in my podcasts to-date are a few Texas bands : Midlake(Denton), Sound Team(Austin), Zykos(Austin), I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness(Austin), The Polyphonic Spree(Dallas), The Baptist Generals(Denton) and non-Texans The Wrens, Magnolia Electric Co, Scout Niblett, Fruit Bats, The Decemberists, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, Vashti Bunyan, David Dondero, Earlimart, Two Gallants, LCD Soundsystem (and in editing: The Octopus Project, BunnyBrains, Ghosty, and The Long Winters.)

I edit interviews into 15 min podcasts and posted it on my podcast feed. The best way to get it and share it with others is by opening iTunes. It requires 4.9+ so some users might need to update. The link to directly connect it to iTunes is pcast://feeds.feedburner.com/indieinterviews . You can also listen directly online here .

I didn't expect this conversation to find it's way online. I felt so awkward after sending that "I miss you already" comment. Well not actually that comment but the fact that I never got an email back. It was like a shameful email one-night stand. Thanks for the endorcement.
